The Association

Our tasks:

• Promoting and representing the interests of our members, specifically through:
  • Regular information and advice
  • Representing common interests in relation to authorities and institutions
  • Promoting cooperation between members themselves and with external parties

We offer:

• Involvement in the drafting of new regulations and directives at national and EU level.
• Representation in numerous bodies in the food industry, in wholesale and foreign trade and on various committees.

We want:

• Uniform framework conditions in the trade and marketing of poultry, eggs and game.
• Collaboration with the relevant wholesale and foreign trade organisations of the EU and trading partners in other countries.
• Removal of national and international trade barriers, facilitation of movement of goods within the Community.
• Dismantlement of cross-frontier trade restrictions, greater transparency in directives and regulations.

Membership:

• Any company engaged in the poultry, egg and game trade which regularly buys or sells, imports or exports or otherwise trades in poultry, eggs and game can apply for membership. The EPEGA membership application form is available for downloading as a PDF file.
